It's actually been a few months since my Sydney surprise happened. I was driving home after work and received a call from my boss's boss asking me to come back to the office, which I did. I thought I was in trouble, or that there is urgent work to be done. Nope - he wanted to introduce me to the CEO of a company that we're going to be working with, and offer me the chance to apply to work for them in Sydney.

Nothing is official yet, we should hear in the next month or so (although that's also what they said 3 months ago) - and then big decision time.
I'm going to use this space to keep a record of my thoughts, research and the journey as it happens. If it happens. Lots of limbo to get through before we'll know one way or another, I guess - welcome aboard the rollercoaster!
